Mental health is defined as “a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being,” and it is determined by a variety of genetic and environmental factors
It is a huge part of every person and affects everything that someone does. Mental health can determine how people handle pressure, interact with others, and many more aspects of life. It is a very big part of social, emotional, and physical well-being and has a huge effect on choices that people make and really everything someone does.
Why is Mental Health Important?
Mental health is, some would say, the most crucial aspect of our person. It impacts behavior and attitude towards life in so many different ways. Continuing on, a negative mental state will affect every single aspect of a person’s life and will take a lot of effort and help to fix it.
It is crucial through all stages of life and should always be cared for equivalent to the amount that physical health is cared for. A negative mental health state does more than just make a person feel bad. It affects every aspect of life and the lives of those around them. Negative mental state can also lead to worse issues as time goes on, including depression, substance abuse, and many more extremely painful issues to face.
If you or someone you know is struggling, always seek help. Always.
